Education Freedom Tax Credit

Expanding Access to Catholic Education

At Corpus Christi Catholic Academy, we believe every family should have the opportunity to choose an education rooted in faith, academic excellence, and the formation of the whole child.

Beginning in 2027, the new federal Education Freedom Tax Credit creates an opportunity to expand access to Catholic education by encouraging individuals to support scholarships for K–12 students.

Through this program, eligible families may receive scholarship assistance for qualified educational expenses, helping make a Catholic education at Corpus Christi Catholic Academy more accessible.

What Is the Education Freedom Tax Credit?

The Education Freedom Tax Credit is a new federal tax credit that begins January 1, 2027.

Individual taxpayers may be eligible to receive a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit of up to $1,700 for qualifying cash contributions made to an approved Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) - The Diocese of Colorado Springs.

These organizations use contributions to provide scholarships for eligible K–12 students.

Colorado has elected to participate in the federal program for 2027.
